Need Some Advice

Morning Guys . Need some advice on how to remove and refit these saddle bags on my wifes xsv 1300 .
Tried last night to find links on google and vids on you tube , my brain went numb after a short while .

Hi Gaz
Apologies if this a sucking eggs exercise. www.classiccruiser.com has some pages on the multitude of K-Drive saddle bags avaiable and the xvs1300 is listed. It appears you should have a key to unlock the bags from the mounts (at least thats how it reads to me)

Thanks mate , battled most of the morning to get it sorted and sure eneogh you need a key what she hasnt got .
Rang a locksmith to come see and pick the lock .
Think he thinks its a bit dodgey .

Of course, you could do the man thing and break out the angle grinder. Probably difficult to refit though..

Yep- lots of stolen bikes out there.  But you have receipts.

Have you asked the seller to try and locate the required key?

Yeah Brock ,funny thing , thats what my workmates said i would do before having a major dummy spit .
The locksmith told me im not one as i had a tyre lever in my hand when he showed up Wot thuh

Yes mate the dealer up your way probably wont forget me when i asked where the key is nearly nicely.
