Hi David and welcome aboard. The ST1300 is a great bike and there is plenty of very useful information to be found on the forum. Enjoy the ride!

Welcome On In David  :clap
I haven't met anyone that experienced success with the air hawk on the oem seat. By the look of the photos your seat is in the standard setting. If you drop the rear of the seat down to the lower setting, and the front of the seat to the middle setting, you will find the ride a lot more comfortable, and it removes the feeling of your nuts sliding into the tank if you have to pull up quick  :whistle ;-*
It helps improve the leg circulation a bit as well  :wink1
I recommend a Sargent seat as an after market replacement - I went from doing 3-400kms per day to over 700 with a seat change, and a set of highway pegs allowing for better leg circulation  :thumb  Any more kms than that interferes with my  :beer :beer and  :eat  :thumbs
Great  many thanks. Look forward to seeing your seat and where did you find the highway pegs ?

You'll have to wait for one of the present owners to kick the bucket (hopefully without bending a highway peg).      :'(
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
