I attended the Hellfire Pass Dawn service, there were two VVIPs in attendance

POW survivors Neil McPherson (96 years) and Harold Martin (101 years) they were given a huge round of applause as they moved to take their seats. These gents would tell you that they arent heroes, just ordinary menn who survived a terrible time.

Here's an article from ANZAC Day 2014 about my late Dad, who passed away just a few weeks ago.   He's another Aussie who gave great service to his country, and is gone but never forgotten.

Hey brock I did dawn service in hell fire pass in 2014 & meet those two diggers my dad was a pow & spent four & a half yrs in hell fire pass was very emotional day

They have been there a couple of times that I have been there, the ovation was great to see..
This is my third trip to the Hell fire Pass dawn service
