I wear a full face, and always remove my helmet when I pay for fuel.  I see no reason to make a stand about my "rights", and consider it to be a courtesy to remove my helmet off when I'm talking to someone.

For RBTs the Police like to keep things moving.  Apparently there are performance expectations, as demonstrated by VicPol's recent scandal.  Hence helmet "on" is acceptable.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I use the BP app on my phone to pay for the fuel, no need to even go into the store

Shell, Caltex, etc... won't accept the BP app.

I wont use BP, its usually 20C more expensive, and Puma gives 4C for an RAC card.
