Listening to the weather forecast on Friday we could have been in for a wild and wet ride but upon checking the PC late Friday evening the warnings had been cancelled in favour of a mostly sunny day.
After a stop at the chemist to pick up a script and the supermarket for a couple drinks we were on our way.
The wind was more of a south westerly and depending on the road it was anything from a head wind to a side wind but nothing the ST can't handle otherwise an uneventful trip between home and Balaklava

Nice day for a ride but only our two at the hotel. There was a BMW parked on the other side of the grassed area when we arrived but the owners left just after we got in to town.

After leaving Balaklava we headed back home the way we came but stopped off in Clare as we needed a few items from Woolworths and decide to stop in at Cheap as Chips as well.
About 25 km by road from home we made another stop so Heather could get some Lucerne for her chickens. While waiting I took a few pictures.
Just in case we get lost.

The closest wind turbine to the road. They bred like rabbits when they were put up.

They're all part of the Hornsdale wind farm which is also where the Tesla battery was built

All up we did 346km for the day and averaged 19.1 K/l. I reset the trip computer every time I fill the tank.
