Hey Shiney, Gadget & fellow OzSTOCers…
Our trip down down to Melbourne and back was brilliant. Kate and I were able to take in all the sights and attend an RTE with JD and Chippy, in Lyonville, near Hepburn Springs. The things that I took away from that RTE were cheerful riders and pillions, great food, hard to imagine better riding weather and an interesting, if not challenging route… Having said that, there are now 24 OzSTOCers who know just how good the Radio Springs Hotel is!
Similarly there are 11 OzSTOCers from an earlier Goomeri RTE in May 2018 who can vouch for the brilliance of the Goomeri Bakery food and coffee, and a great day out on the STeed getting there… so this is a nudge to remind you to check the calendar and speak to the Weather Gods
As last time, our plan is to ride down as far as Monto the day before and stay in The Albert, aka the Top Pub. We'd then ride down to Goomeri the next morning (hopefully arriving in time, this time!), and reverse the process going home.
So buck up, Queenslanders (and anyone else in riding distance). If we can't fetch you with our delightful personalities, perhaps we can fetch you with coffee, pies, sausage rolls and cakes!
