fuel pump issues

hi guys,
need some help, fuel pump problems
i was told that a goldwing 1500 fuel pump works but it doesnt
it wont even pump when connected. apart from it is to short
connecting on the bench to a battery no problems, on the bike nothing what soever
any ideas and has anyone got a pump for sale?

You didnt say which bike its for.

Problem could be the tilt relay, or perhaps a fuse.

ST 1100 i do have power on the wires at the tank, just doesnt pump

can i just connect the pump to a live wire on ignition

The wire may have broken in the tank, or there is a bad termination at the plug. As the pump tries to work, the voltage drops..
