St1300 Outfit
« on: October 06, 2025, 01:13:25 AM »
Some of you may remember the Red ST1300 Outfit that was at the Mannum Rally. The owner Kym, is so impressed with the performance of the ST1300 in this configuration he has found some someone to convert one for his brother with another couple to follow for his friends.
It has been engineered and built in Adelaide and Kym is very happy with the result. If anyone would like more details please message me with your phone number and I will get Kym to ring you. See attachment for photos. The red outfit is the one Kym had at Mannum and the rest of the phots the being of the one just built in Adelaide.
If you are starting to find your ST1300 a little heavy but do not want to part with it sidecars are great fun.
If you would like jpegs of the photos in the attached documents please message me.

Very interesting, thanks Glenn.  An outfit, perhaps a better option to the alternative of selling the ST1300.  Garage space could be a problem, but most problems can be solved.   PM sent.

That front fork mod is impressive!

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I'm a lot older than 50 but had to Google it.

From my limited knowledge of leading link front ends, not cheap. Materials and labour in building that front end (I think it's more than forks) wouldn't be significant, but at least the R&D and design for an ST1300 is already done (thanks to Kym).

That would include almost everyone.

I have a ball park figure but it will vary for each one but looking at the photos and considering what is involved one would be very impressed.
