ST1100 care IN Whyalla SA Please Help!
« on: February 05, 2013, 12:07:22 PM »
Anyone know a bike mechanic for my ST1100 near Whyalla SA. Need an engine analysis and tune-up. Local bike shop only caters for dirt bikes and doesn't have the technology or equipment to help the ST purr. I am in a delama as the poor old beaSTy is running pretty ragged and frustrating me heaps. I don't have the smarts or equipment to do anything myself. Have just moved here 1mth ago, know no-one, (boo-hoo), and feel totally abandoned and helpless. Wife back in NSW, so don't even have a shoulder to cry on, (sob, sob)

Gees mate, that's a sad state of trouble!    :'(

Freddo frog is up in Port Augusta and Alans1100 in in Peterborough, so you could PM them for ideas.

Alan's also handy with tools, too.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Alan's also handy with tools, too.

Not that handy, I leave the front forks, valve checks, and carb balance etc to the pro's
