Make it too hard to get a licence, and perhaps the road toll will go down. :Stirpot :Stirpot

It's not normally accepted but if they can't fit you into a local office, can you try and attend a country office such as Bunbury or Geraldton or somewhere in between?

Possibly the wrong time of year as all the schoolies will be trying for their moped licence while mum and dad are in Bali.

If you can get a booking out of town, I sure someone would be prepared to go for a run with you as an instructor??

DPI don't usually allow you to do a test in another town unless you live there so don't hold your breath.

You should also go online and keep an eye out for cancellations.
My sons booking was in March but you can go online each day for updates, he now has his booking later this month.

Ahhh, living in a small town, can go into the Shire office and book in for next week if I need to, also with rego etc, no queues here.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"

Tuesday and Thursday they send booking lists to the licensing centres. Try again tomorrow. Test for Trina went from October in Morley to July in the space of 2 days calling in March. That was 2012. Hope it helps and good luck.

Had no trouble changing the rego on my Goldwing from Tassie. Just front up early at Welshpool.
