Just researching some books for the Christmas stocking and came across this pearl you'll all want to get your hands on:

Especially helpful for getting a beer in Qld.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

But, if there were three or more copies of that book together in public wouldn't the Police confiscate them?

I've bought myself Mike Hyde's "Twisting Throttle America" for Xmas, will wrap it and put a card on it saying it's from my son.  He's such a thoughtful boy.

There's also "twisting Throttle Australia" and "Twisting Throttle New Zealand" (t's his 50 best biking roads over there, an excellent book if you're thinking of motorbike touring NZ)
At my age you realise something very important, then ten minutes later you've forgotten it.
