Exchanged waves on Satruday
« on: March 17, 2014, 12:25:57 PM »
Took off on my lap up through the canefileds early on Saturday morning.  At the first set of lights, I pulled up in the inside lane alongside a car and looked in the rear window and there was a kid's seat in the back with a beaming 9 month to 1 year old in it.  He'd seen the bike come up alongside and was leaning forward to get a good look.  So I waved across to him and his face burst into the biggest grin, and he was still grinning and waving back as the lights changed and I turned left and his Dad drove off straight ahead.

Ride safe in the future years kid.
At my age you realise something very important, then ten minutes later you've forgotten it.

Kids do like it when you wave.  Good publicity as if the parents are there they usually say wave back or have a good look.
