nope he is in perth, i could have flown over and taken him out to dinner last night, given him flowers, chocolates, a hug, 10 camels and a picture of Angelina Jolie from tomb raider just to say thanks again

Abe; sounds good to me.  I'm one for blocking them all together, just need to catch them in the act first, although this one is proving to be difficult  :law

We now also have email notifications working again  8)

That is what we tried to do previously, I have set up blocks of IP ranges to try and stop these guys, but it doesnt work if they bypass the the sign up system. A quick google of tapatalk shows a history of problems, with security holes

Tapatalk isn't all that bad but it all comes down to the forum platform it ties in with whether those security holes are exposed or not.  With any luck we'll have Tapatalk back up and running by next week with a few security tweaks to help prevent any further issues like what we've just experienced.
