Well today was the Kingaroy RTE, last went there in 2011, so I was a bit excited as there was a good crew going as well!
but first things first was to meet Leo (Wild Rose) in Toowoomba to head off, he has not long owned a Sena SMH10, and had not ridden while talking to someone, so we synced headsets so he could give it a go (i am sure someone must have warned him how much I talk)

so off we went, not sure which way to go to Kingaroy, but a bunch of slow traffic turning onto the kingaroy/cooyar road sorted it for us, and it was coffee in Yarraman

while we sat at the cafe eveyone rolled past, and only Redline stopped in to join us, mind you we where a bit slow getting there, i actually got a phone call while i was standing outside the RSL wondering if we where coming inside to order (i thought i left the wife at home you know)
i was busy taking photos of bikes!

so it was in line for food, i was rather happy with my $11 steak and veg, recommend the food for sure!

this is the only group shot i got, it was fantastic listening and talking with all the old faces about the world in general, it was one of the most social RTE's i had been to in a very long time.

we didnt leave till after 3.30pm as we all sat there and talked so much!
as you can see everyone was trying to ring diesel and ask why he was not there....

Leo and i saddled up and headed for the Bunya Mountains road, it was a little late in the day, but worth it all the same, the Views where Fantastic!

we even found the most odd looking hand....

even the horse and cart was out!

it was a very nice 330km i always enjoy finding the backroads and seeing where they go, it was dark by the time we got home, i would have loved to have kept riding, but alas, i had to cook dinner, bring on the next RTE!
