Those Fairing clip/screw things??
« on: May 02, 2012, 04:02:28 PM »
So I'm in SuperCheap having a look round and come across those Back Fairning clip, screw things that hold things together, so I buys me a couple of boxes that have 2 in em each. Now the things sell for more than gold from your frienly :rofl HONDA dealer but from SuperCheap their like $3.00 for a box of 2 :thumbsup. Heres a pic or 2 of the things I mean. No idea if their the right size or whatever but they fit my ST1100 just like the ones from HONDA made out of Black Plastic Gold

When I needed one for the front fairing on my 1100 I went to the local panel beater and he just gave me one, said it was too much trouble to write a docket.  :bl11

I got some from the States last year from a place called Cyclemax or Big Bike Parts.

They're listed as GL1800 parts but they fit the 1300 just fine.

You get 10 in a box. I got 3 types (3 boxes) and even with postage it only came to $30.

Item numbers: B3-104      1800 Rivets.                                $6
                        B3-106      1800 Low Profile Plastic Rivets    $6
                        B3-112       Flush Reusable Rivets                 $8

Shipping. $10

LOTS CHEAPER THAN HONDA

Just bought a pack of 10 bullet rivets from my local Honda dealer $6.00.  Look better than the ST1300 rivets and seem stronger, I think they're used in their quad bikes.....just another option!
