I was waiting at the lights...
« on: December 03, 2014, 07:50:21 PM »
.. car pulled up in the next lane, driver had unlit ciggy in mouth.
Flipped up my helmet to open face reached into pocket with left hand, and got a ciggy for myself.
Driver alongside flicked a lighter, and fired up his puffer stick.
I pushed in the lighter on my handlebars, when it popped, I lit mine.
Lights turned green, I left.
Driver still at the lights trying to find his ciggy, which dropped from his mouth as I lit mine.
Obviously never seen anyone smoking on a bike before.
Maybe it was the electric lighter which threw him?

You've got a lighter in your lighter socket!!    :eek

Never heard of that!
Everyone else has USB chargers etc etc in theirs.      :grin
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

As I am a smoker, of course I have a lighter!... high screen and flip up helmet allows me the luxury of having a puff without pulling over.. also have a second socket which is used for phone charging in the lock up box.
15 amp Socket on handlebars is also used for air compressor, and GPS through a USB connector
