Timely reminder
« on: December 20, 2014, 11:34:33 AM »
Merry christmas to all,
Please take extra care on the road as there are a lot of people not paying attention or doing silly things or having too much xmas cheer. :beer

Hence why I am sending this from the spinal ward at the RAH..

I was at the Breakfast Creek Hotel last night and a friend who was there saw a guy, who was kicked out of the pub for having too much to drink, hop in his car and drive off.

If I'd have seen it I would have rung 000.

I hope it is nothing permanent Hendo.  Speedy recovery mate.
Cheers,
Gary

Very timely H3ndo. Hope it's not too serious. I was foing to remind members to be extra vigilant at this time as mad folks rush around ti finish their own Xmas preps. Watch out for people running red lights etc when you take off at the green light,  and so on.

Get better soon Hendo. I am hoping to be on the road when everyone else is already where they want to be. But this is the time of year when drivers who only go around town are let loose on the highways, many without much of a clue.

Get well Hendo, and when you have chance, perhaps you could give us an update on how you're getting on.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
I'm out of hospital now. I have a fractured C6 and C7 verterbrae in my neck. Will be in a neck brace for next 6 weeks or so.
An enforced holiday in Adelaide. By then the bike will be hopefully repaired or I'll have cash for a replacement.

I'd come and visit, only I'm off to Tassie, but might ferret you out when we get back.  :beer   Who's got the bike for repair?
