FOUND! Pics from the first ever OzSTOC RTE...

Thought these were gone forever...
From the old Yahoo email list, I'd assembled enough keen punters to do a ride with me from BP Caboolture Northbound Service Centre via a fun run though the Mary Valley with Brekky at Nana's Cafe in Kenilworth to lunch at Rainbow Beach SLSC. This was on 16th May, 2010.
HRH Brian (ORSM)
Stopped at Mary Cairncross for a looksee and pre-ordered brekky for Kenilworth so it would be ready for us when we arrived.
Met up with Jinxy and Mark from the Bundy Crew at Gympie, and headed out as a group to Rainbow Beach.
Mark, Jinxy and John Meara
John and Catherine Meara, Ian Beatup, Brian and Mark
Ready to head back.
ORSM
John & Catherine
Beatup
A great day was had by all, and we agreed that there should be many more - and there have been.
Thanks for reading.
Cheers, Diesel

Fantastic set of pics, and what looks like really good ride for one and all. We'll done for finding the good pics and congrats for kicking off the whole club with this " ride" idea as they key to it all.
Superb

Yep- missed that one, too. Most of those marginal types are still in OzSTOC. I guess "when you're on a good thing, stick to it"!
Who can remember the advert and illustration that used to use that slogan?
(while we're on memory lane in the petrol thread)

Good on ya Diesel, well done for resurrecting them!
We go back even a little bit further mate, hey, but no pics to show for it!..............ST-Owners.com!! You, me, Roper, probably quite a few others as well that I don't know of.
I still very occasionally have a look at their web site as it's sooooooo full of helful hints and information, and so many cheap STs for sale. Makes you wonder why ours are so much more expensive!!

This was taken in Maleny on the way to Bunya, one of the original OzSTOC rides organised by Barry. I rode up from Canberra and Ross and Julie rode from Newcastle.
On the way back we stopped near Esk.
I believe it was in 2007.
