SPEED of Any Kind . . .
« on: December 22, 2015, 08:40:49 PM »
Barry Lane this is Ragamuffin in last years Sydney/Hobart . . Speed, smooth deck allows free flow of waves . . A speed machine . .

Here is the new generation of big boats, 100 feet hitting  38 knots, that’s 71 KM/H, wind powered. The clip lasts 5 mins, I recommend watching it all. The music I think is INXS.

The only thing going quicker would be last nights dinner as sea sickness kicks in.

I noted with a smile one of this year's sailors being interviewed saying that many sailor's in this year's Sydney to Hobart would be seeing Christmas Dinner for the second time . . .

The only unfortunate bit about seeing your Christmas dinner twice is that is does not look or taste as good the second time round.   :H

I wonder if there is a 'Barf Award' for the crew member who contributes the most? :rofl
