Graham's off the Mark in 2016!
« on: January 01, 2016, 03:56:08 PM »
Well after being sober bob last night and driving everyone around, and my tired wife saying "why don't you go for a ride" code for i am tired, go away.

I met up with Gavin from DDR and we took in a quick 120km lap

down to Pilton, and up the Gatton-Clifton road to the Ma Ma Creek Store, there is some great riding, and awesome views to be had down this road, if you get a chance go and do it! (Google link: https://goo.gl/maps/eCn2tqc5LmQ2)

Ma Ma Creek Store has new owners, and the sign was out they where open till 3pm, unfortunately they where closed by 2pm and had not taken the sign in, and more than a few people had stopped to go in and like us, disappointed they where not open. But it is awesome they have new owners and are operating!

Backup through flagstone creek, we parted company back in town, bike back in the shed, and now having a cool drink typing this up

There's some worrying mould growing around your chin, Streak.  Just a holiday frivolity?
Goodonya for getting out na' bout.  I took Missus Biggles out to Samford on the Wing for lunch.   Only one food outlet open in town, the pub.  Plurry hot in the jackets.  Home in the a/c- been spoiled by a cool weather Christmas.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Well done Graham I did a ride a fortnight ago out to Leyburn for coffee then onto Warwick RSL for lunch then back through Ma Ma Creek. We pulled up at the shop for a cold drink, it had been years since I had been through Ma Ma Creek
Thanks for sharing  ++
