got the replacment unit out of the wreck but now to do the swap

Don't forget to upgrade the fuse side as well.
We have a 55amp fuse sitting next to the battery with a direct connection to the alternator. See pic

Ive got the wire loom from the wrecked police bike and I think it is already done as a quick look see at 1990 wiring is so different it maybe better to exchange loom at this time also
