Do you think this will be a popular farkle?

I found this on another forum.
Certainly gets me curious, could be a good way to spend a few dollars.  It'd make me feel my bike was more secure especially when parked in large groups (not ST's of course)
Wasn't it at the Ulyusses AGM at Coffs a couple of years ago where a couple of bikes were stolen and later tracked down to be on the back of a truck going over the border?  Seems to be a bit cheaper than similar products that are available.
I couldn't get the whole page into the email so here's the link.

The device is easy to install with only 2 - 4 wires to connect. Insert a GSM Sim card (not included) and hide the device away on a metal surface or carpet using the included hook and loop adhesive. Western Australian members

How about those who are interested in one of these getting together and ordering at least 4. I've just phoned the local branch and he reckons that the $118.95 is the lowest they'll go (no cheaper for more than 4).  :think1

QTY
  1+ $149.00
  2+ $133.95
  4+ $118.95

Just wondering?????? Do you have to subscribe to a service.
I have used a "SPOT" http://au.findmespot.com/en/  for a few years and it basically does the same with a push of a button. It also has an emergency button that works like those EPIRB things that when pushed sends you details to the emergency responce people???. So if you crash and not too good they can find you and help out??  but you do have to subscribe to a service or you can use the other service where you don't have to subscribe. Just forgot who it is that provides it

I've been looking at the Amaysim sim card offer, 12 cents per mobile call, pay as you go.
I wonder if this sim card would work, then there'd be no ongoing fees  if it only charged when you check the device, at 12 cents a time.
You'd only check for the bikes location if it was "missing".
