Cleaning Radiator Fins
« on: December 19, 2020, 05:05:11 PM »
What's the best way to clean radiator fins?   I seem to have a growing collection of bugs, and would like to get rid of them before I start searching for a radiator guard for the Beemer.

An Air-conditioner technician once told me to clean the internal split unit heat exchanger (radiator), with spray and wipe. The solvents dissolve and oils and grease, and then the residue just drips to the bottom. No scrubbing required, which can bend the fins.

I can't see why it wouldn't work on bike radiators.
