« on: October 03, 2025, 01:52:45 PM »
The recently reopened Light Hotel is having an Oktoberfest themed event tomorrow night.  I don't plan to be there for dinner or wear a costume but am intending to go there for lunch if anyone else is interested.

Bugga, I've got something else on mid-morning and so the likelihood of being able to make it is low to very low.

BUT, I like the idea of throwing something like this up on the site, hopefully you get a couple of takers. Enjoy lunch, chatting up the frauleins  :beer and the obligatory Guinness.

What a shemozzle that was,  After being told during the week they'd be open for lunch took the family (had something to do in Marrabel) only to arrive and be told we're not doing lunches at the moment.  Not happy Jan.  Then we went to the Truro which also reopened this year.  They don't do meals at all.  Both have been removed from next year's suggestion list.  We then went to the Brauhaus in Angaston.  We all left content and would recommend.

Had we not been at Marrabel earlier in the day I probably would have gone back via Alendale North and tried that or one of the Kapunda options.
