Getting to know my ST 2
« on: June 07, 2012, 09:19:36 PM »
OMG I just worked out from my route planner I'll be doing all up about 8193 km - 4 days in the saddle. Damn my butt is starting to twitch :P

For all you guys that offered meets and greets - routes and roads to travel,  I thank you all - Sorry I will only have time to greet Streak to collect my OZstoc shirt on the way thru.  Ill definitely take some snaps on the road and post a run me down :P when i get back.

For some reason tho I have this nasty suspicion I'll have to get some new back rubber somewhere before I get home  :grin

At 2048.25 km average per day for those 4 days, you'd better have Streak standing out the front with your shirt on a pole, because you won't be stopping anywhere except for petrol!!

Apart from tyres, you might need a new licence too, because to average 85 kph (with minimal sleeps) you might cop a few speeding tickets.   :eek
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Yeah I see what you mean - That was just the total hours going by Google maps all together :) It just looked a lot
I just added all the km together as well. there will definitely be stopovers each night along the way :) the total trip is over 11 to 12 days :)

I guessed that was the case, but you can't go leaving doors like that open around here with Diesel on the prowl.
