Gold Medal
« on: August 10, 2012, 07:32:23 AM »
Well I hate sport.
But the young bloke up the road in the same complex I live in that I see everyday looks like he just won a Gold at the Olympics in the rowing.
He's a plumber that busts his arse everyday on the job. His name is Jacob Clear :thumbsup

That's really great, that an ordinary bloke can put his mind to something and beat the world at it!
Truly life-affirming among all the bs that surrounds the Olympics.

That said, thank God we're ahead of New Zullnd and Kazakhstan- now that was scarey for a while!   :grin

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Yeah just a bloke who lives in a unit at a former over 55 complex with his Work Ute parked out the front :thumb
Its a small complex where the majority of people are retired complete with the triple b-pass, and the heaps of medication, but I'm sure the walkers and canes are being polished up for the homecoming.
