What do you thinK?
« on: November 15, 2013, 04:29:07 PM »
This is what I'm going to have made into raised dome vinyl stickers for the STealth project.. The artwork is pretty rough but it is only a draft.. not this size either, they'll be a bit smaller. The background will be carbon fibre look, not plain black, and the writing will be chrome.

What do you think?

The bike will be satin black with the rocker covers and the motor in wrinkle finish black VHT paint, the wheels may end up being satin black, as will the triple trees and the alloy pieces where the footpegs bolt on. In fact the only bit I plan on being chrome will be the fork tubes and if I can get black anodised tubes to sit they will be black as well. Hence the STealth project.

"Do you have any blacker?"...

:gldst11 Sweet......I reckon if the bike is black the sticker would look even cooler without the black backing and the white ring.....So just the writing just how you have it in the form of a transfer.....in a silver colour or a colour to blend with the other attributes on the bike......looking forward to seeing the finished project  :thumbsup

Cheers

Long term project at this stage, although I have bought: shock, tank, rhs switch block, clutch master cylinder, side panels, brake pads, wheel bearings, rear hub o-rings, tyres, and a few other bits. I still need to get an Acewell dash, a set of fork tubes, a headlight, bars, indicators, mirrors and a bikini fairing.

I'm looking forward to getting time to work on it.

Sounds very interesting. Have you done a mockup using photoshop?
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.
