Merino has a great rep with the hiking fraternity. The fine Merino wool has great wicking abilities has the advantage of drawing sweat away and then cooling you as air passes back through the garment, and remains odour free for far longer than man made fibres.

Good option for Long distance in hot or cold weather if you can get them without seams in the wrong places.
