ST 1100 Roo damage
« on: February 20, 2014, 07:46:31 AM »
Hi all, a friend of mine hit a roo at 80kph on his 95 ST 1100 monday morning....managed to keep the bike upright, god know's how. The bike has severe damage to lights and left hand fairing, and mirror, does anyone know where we could get second hand parts from, we have looked on ebay and gum tree, it's dark blue almost purple in colour. Doesn't look like there is any damage to the frame just fairing and light. Any thoughts appreciated.

You could try www.findapart.com.au which links all the wreckers in Australia. David Silver spares in the UK is a good source for new bits.  I have used both.

I have a left hand mirror pod (no mirror) spare that I will never use (brand new, bought half price when a local delaer sold up). It is dark red.

The colour doesn't sound like Honda's, so you're not going to match it.  That makes it simpler- buy all the parts and repaint the whole bike, possibly in a Honda colour.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

There was RP-103C-U Candy Tropical Night Purple on 94 and 95 ABS models but it seems N/A for Australia. http://www.st-1100.com/st1100-colour-codes.html

Your best bet is to check the paint and model codes on the frame under the seat and that should at least give you an idea if the bike has been painted or not.

Ulti682, have found these blokes through the VJMC forum, might be of some use as they list Honda ST.
