Just when I stopped wearing a watch since the smartphone does it all.
Some amazing "statements" there!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

well, now you can have a smart watch instead of a smart phone, Samsung has just released this.

Not that I have a need to wear one either.

Does anyone else remember when Dick Tracy was a cartoon character who could talk to HQ on his watch?

I know we used to watch it around the time we got our first TV so it was after my 10th birthday 1965.

I had the casio calculator watch and now i have a Pebble ( www.getpebble.com ) ...  awesome...  great in meetings as phone can be on silent but still see who is calling and if important can tell person "i just need to take this call" and then watch their face....   :o

That Pebble is amazing.  Makes wearing a watch again a viable proposition.  US$150.  Hmm.  Some many toys, so little money (after tyres, petrol etc etc)     :'(

I got mine from somewhere in Oz for $199 for my birthday earlier this year. At that time selling for around $250 elsewhere and needed to wait weeks.
Really cool toy ...  links in well with all my notifications and runkeeper app for running.
Can even tell me where i parked my car  :clap ... very hady after a few  :beer (not that i condone that behaviour of course)
