John,
Ros and I were shattered to hear your news. Words are pointless at this stage but just be aware our heart goes out to you and are thinking of you.

Thanks all for your kind words. The service will be at 10.30am on Friday 24 January, at the Norwood Park Crematorium in Mitchell ACT.

I am asking for donations towards type 1 diabetes instead of flowers or such.  Gina struggled to deal with type one diabetes pretty well her whole life, but it can finally get you one way or the other.  It is too late for Gina, but no-one should have to go through that, and hopefully one day they won't.

John, I've only just this moment read the very sad news that your wife has passed away after a lifetime dealing with type one diabetes, please accept my sincere condolences. My son David has also been dealing with type one diabetes since he was 12 years of age, he's 29 now and I know the problems associated with this complaint. I'm so sorry for you and your family my friend!!
There are many paths to the top of the mountain.....but we all need to find our own way!
