Staintune Exhausts ST1300
« on: January 30, 2014, 01:21:52 PM »
The guy who owned my 09 ST1300 before me has a set of Staintune Slipons for sale.  He took them off the bike before he traded it and put the OEM's back on.
The ST had done 16,500k's when I bought it, I assume the Staintunes saw most of that.  He says they've been polished up, put back in the Staintune box and there's not a mark on them. For what it's worth the bike was immaculate when I bought it, a credit to him.
I understand he want's about $500 for them and he might even fit them for you if you ask him.

If you are interested PM me and I'll give you his contact number.  I don't have a financial interest in this, he's just a good bloke.

It was a hard decision to turn them down.  Comes down to priorities and with 5 bikes in the shed and the ergos and comms on the ST to sort out the pipes fell below the yellow line. Katey Perry will have to keep me awake a while longer  :rofl

As a general question:-

Is the tuning effected from changing from original pipes to aftermaket pipes  :think1

That sounds like a great price, I have Staintunes on my 1100, and love the sound.  :thumb
At my age " getting lucky" is remembering what I came in the room for ;)
