It is great to see the other side.

Hand on heart I have never had an interaction wth the cops in over 40 years of high kilometer driving which has not been like that one. If you are cordial and respectful to them I have always found they are the same to you.

If you behave like an a...hole you will be treated accordingly.

Pretty simple really.

I've lived in a few states of the great land and I have never met a bad one yet.

Most importantly is how you approach each situation, And yes I have been a bad boy when I was younger.

Hat's off to them all, I would never want to have to deal with there varied work environment.

How good is that. My experience is I have never been pinged or harassed for something I didn't do. You generally get what you deserve. There are exceptions I will concede, but I have never been on the receiving end of that.

you know even if they start off being cranky if you  are cordial, polite, respectful and have a good attitude then I have always found they ( the police) are always respectful back.

The one and only time I had a 'bad copper' was due to my mate being drunk in the passenger seat thinking he was gods gift and making a tool of himself which only made for a shitty interaction. Even then though the copper said in a reasonable tone 'get your mate home before he get you (me) in trouble. Your doing the right thing".

When ever I have been pinged I have my licence ready for them before they ask for it and when they do you know? .... if I do I always say i'll cop it on the chin mate.
