Seems I chose well in making the effort to visit wit Barry et al last month...cos it's gone now it seems :'(

Wow!  So I wonder where they're moving that fabulous collection of bikes to.  Hopefully they will still be on display somewhere.
I could never see them making money there.  Whenever I've called in there have only been a few visitors.  Nothing wrong with the location, between Brisbane and Toowoomba.  Maybe too much money tied up in all that land they weren't using.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Got wind of it'd closed during a chat with a few Mates over a cuppa yesterday...as for the whereabouts of the bikes, well just look at ebay for a bit of a clue :wink1 As fort he rest, I believe they are going to the owners home.

I was wondering how you knew about it.  Didn't think you were into Qld rural real estate.
A real pity to break up that collection.  Maybe other collectors/museums will absorb those they need and can afford.
