I headed from Toowoomba at 8.00 on Saturday morning with Pete on a FJR1300, Bill on a V Star1300,
Brother-in-Law Bob on a Harley(it didn't brake down)

Andrew on GSX650 he only came to Aratula as he had to work Sat arvo
We met up with Bill's brother Perry there on a Honda VT750
We had coffee at Aratula then headed for Rathdowney, Then over the border into NSW. I thought there would be a blockade stopping Queenslander's coming into NSW or is that the other way round

Great scenery through the hills over creeks and under Railway Bridges onto Ripple's on the Creek
Finally arriving just before 12.00. Had a chat and headed inside for lunch, which was great It's a pity it is closing down
This is the third time for me along the Lions Rd and I didn't know it was there
After lunch we took the group photo's then headed off, We stopped and had a look at the Border train loop (But no train)

Running a bit late as Pete had to get back for his Grand Daughter 1st Birthday we headed for home this time going through
Rosewood, Laidley, Gatton arriving home at 5.15 doing 485 Km and another great ride

I tried to take this photo with the ST1300 in front of the Lion's Rd sign but I was on a slope and the bike was not stable and my mates didn't wait so I said next time

People that you meet in the most unusual places "Ripple on the Creek" Lion's Rd near Kyogle

Pockey, ST2UP & Gary(Gadget) having a chat

Looking North towards the Queensland border
