On the way back from Ballerat we found a similar place in Birdwood South Australia but mainly covers original cars, trucks and has one very large section at the rear for old to new motorcycles.
Cheap entry at $12.00 per adult. Took us a good two hours to get through the place.
Just down the road there is an old workshop called BILLS BITS AND BIKES or similar.
It's like an old storage shed with rusty and new bikes, parts and what ever has been invented for bikes over the past 200years.
It's not a musuem but an actual workshop.
The owners are more than happy to let you walk through and check out the restored bikes and other bits and pieces. It's not flash and there is a lot of dust and equipment that you have to climb over to check out what is there.
It's free and if you have a bike that you are restoring, there is a good chance that what you are looking for is in this place.
Finish off the tour with a good meal and a laugh with the staff at the pub next door.
After that a nice winding road ride past the lakes (sunken town) through the hills and back to Adelaide.
