Bike test
« on: May 23, 2015, 09:13:04 PM »
Hey guys,
One of my mates is hoping to get to oz in the next few months, can anyone tell me how much it costs to get your bike licence here, as he might have to sit it before he leaves UK, it's around £1000 over there.

Thanks in advance

Jack

Depends on which state you get your licence but I think (at a guess) you'd need to transfer your licence to a local one first

In South Australia it's about $750 to get to the learner stage (glad I got mine before they put this in place)

In WA you just pay for 2 practical tests and do the written test then ride with someone who has had their license (same class) for over 4 years and book in and do practical test. All up only a couple hundred $.
