road condition

Can any one tell me what the Ayr _  Ravenswood road is like, It looks like a good loop from Townsville   hard to tell what the road is  like on Google earth. cheers  Marty

As far as I know the section from the turn off past Clare to Ravenswood is mostly dirt road.

I did a nice ride the other week by going up through hearveys range all the way to the end and turned left onto Gregory developement road and then did a left at Chartets Towers and then back to Tsv. 

Was a great afternoon evening ride ..

Yes thats a nice loop and throttle management can be a little lax :D with lunch at Charlie's trousers an all round good ride.

Hi Marty, haven't been over that road for a few years,  but it can be pretty rough in a few places up and over the hill she's rocky and stoney.

its not a road I'd take an ST over. But like I said it has been a few years 3 or 4 lots can change.
