Ditto.

I had a lovely visit from my daughter and 2 year old Granddaughter for several hours. It was a beautiful day.

My Granddaughter is just starting to use sentences and whilst playing with my petrified rock collection on the back deck she said "Heavy, Opa help?"

My daughter didn't know she knew how to say the word heavy and use it in context.

I should also add I wore my Mackay Rally shirt for the first time.  I must admit I do like that big Kawasaki sponsorship logo in the top corner.

I had organised a ride but only 4 bikes turned up- all the fathers were at picnics or whatnot with their kids.  Lesson learned!
We still had a nice outing.  We rode for coffee around the corner from Suncorp stadium with one of the pillions presenting her man with tickets to the Broncos game as a Fathers' Day present.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

We had a family dinner with the kids and the four little grandsons....   :H

It's lovely to have all the littlies around together, as they are such good mates, but it's quite exhausting.   My daughter want's to go for a ride on the new bike, so we're off for a ride in the Adelaide Hills for coffee tomorrow while the kids are at kindy.

Mine was my 3 sons over for dinner on Saturday night, oldest 2 with their partners, for 2 birthday celebrations & Father's Day, which was a great night, possibly the last night all together before my oldest gets married next month.

Sunday was a get together over lunch with my father, Sandra, my younger sister, her husband & their youngest. Had a good time, but got a bit much for him towards the end  of the day.

All up, a pretty good weekend.
