Went to KFC... just wanted a simple feed.
« on: October 19, 2015, 11:05:50 AM »
Haven't been into a KFC for 20 years because of poor attitude of staff, and 3 days in a row back then they stuffed up my order. :OldMan

Last chance!

I tried to order, but Staff kept trying to supersize my order  :spank to the point that I walked out, went a block away to Maccas and bought a burger (at half the cost of what KFC was pressing me to buy  :Whipped), then returned to KFC and sat at a table to eat it,  :Stirpot and left all the Maccas packaging on the table.

That's it for KFC, they have done their dash.. never again in my lifetime will I grace their premises with my presence.

You sure know how to make your point.

I tried to buy a Zinger pack in Narrabri NSW and you'd think I'd arrived from Mars.  Apparently they don't do the "hot and spicy" version there.
I'm also a Grumpy about KFC here in my suburb.  The pieces I get always seem to be battered ribcages.  They save the drumsticks for their friends.      :well

We usually go to the Port Pirie KFC one about once a month......not really any issues  except if we get there at school lunch time (the same for Maccas). We got used to school kids at Karratha not being allowed out of school grounds on school days unless they had a note from their parents. Shops wouldn't serve kids during school hours either unless a note from a parent or the parent was at least in the store.

Now that Hungry Jacks have opened we go there most of the time as it's to far for the school lunch parade.

By an odd quirk, coffee frappes are not available at Maccas here in Portland... If you crave a frappe, be prepared to drive 100 Km to obtain one, at either Warrnambool, Hamilton, or Mount Gambier.

May one ask, "What the F....... is a Frappe", it sounds like a tree hugging Yuppy beverage with out sugar, milk or caffeine....

When they divide a chicken into at least 10 pieces, and then sell those pieces at over two dollars each, the value of a Kentucky meal has gone out the window, especially when they train staff to try and gouge more money from each customer with their unwanted forceful 'upsizing' of your order. No, I DON'T want fries.
If I wanted them, I would have asked for them.
Besides, I don't want 'fries'... I want bloody CHIPS!

I make my own at home, without all the extra sugar.  Blend ice cubes, a shot or two of coffee (and sometimes whole coffee beans) with milk.  Very refreshing on a hot day :H

Had the same problem Biggles - but now I ask for a 'middle breast piece'   <-----------   Make of that what you will - but try it next time and you'll be     :grin :grin :grin   (as long as the service is OK.    :rofl

Woolworths n Coles do a whole roasted and stuffed chicken for $8 to $10, price depends on time of day you buy . . Great taste, nice n hot and without all the crap KFC put on to disguise the rabbit . . . . Nothing wrong with rabbit as long as their toes ain't mixed up . .

At least you're on a high fibre diet

You've made your meaning plane

That's knot comfortable

Let's branch off topic, how do you feel afterwards?

Let's leave this topic alone

These puns go against the grain ...
At my age you realise something very important, then ten minutes later you've forgotten it.
