SIL in Darwin didn't mention it yesterday when on the phone. Probably normal for her so doesn't rate a mention.

That would be right .... I have seen some media but on reflection looks like hype because the rest of the country is not having much .

We've had a couple of decent storms, but not what I'd call huge falls, only 20-50mm at a time, although Noonamah got 197mm overnight last night.  The storms have been a huge relief from the disgustingly hot build up we're experiencing.  :H
