13844 feet is 4219.65 metres.

The air is quite thin at that altitude. The body rapidly loses potassium, Bananas & sports drinks help. And oxygen is hard to get in to your lungs too, so O2 cylinders are handy.

I found going up 3 steps at 4315 metres hard going, so good on Pezzz for riding at that altitude.

When I was parachuting, we were on air tanks when flying above 10000 ft (can't pressurise an aircraft with a door missing )

... not a good thing to black out through lack of oxygen when skydiving.

By the way.. Pezzz is now approaching a point in the road that is only 3 miles from the Pakistan border.
