I've been wondering about that too.
Seems all very New-Agey, or something.
Maybe we're being blamed for not reading the minds of the oncoming driver about to turn in front of us, or the phantom lane-changers.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

I was amused to read on driver reviver signs in Qld recently - "Free when open". Does that mean you have to pay for coffee when the driver reviver stations are closed?

They may not have known about sixth sense, but they will have it. You cant ride that long with out it.

Sixth sense is what tells you "no, I wont overtake just now", or " I think I might slow down for this corner a bit". Even to the extreme, no I will take the car today.

P.S. I'm in my 60s

My sixth sense has a history of letting me down. It always fails to kick in just before I hit a roo.

Commonly known as the  :cuss wit radar.
I had a very nice man pull out from a property in a rural area 2 car lengths in front of me on my right last week.
He had a line of traffic to his right as well. I managed to brake then pull up beside his open window for a little chat.
I asked him if he was born a :cuss wit or did he have to work on it.
He was last seen pulling over very shaken.I love flip face helmets  :grin
