A couple/few decades ago I was active in cycling circles until one morning I awoke right in the groove forgetting all about warming tyres...!!!
I managed to "Road test" my leathers on a Honda NS400R (2 Stroke triple GP replica), the other half wasn't exactly keen on me getting back on as it were...
Just over a year ago, a buddy gave me the opportunity to ride again
and the wife didn't overly object in the hope that age may have mellowed me, a little.
Soon after that I became a STrider on a ST1100
thanks to the generosity of an Oz STowner who upgraded to an ST1300.
Not sure if I was keener on the S or the T. I picked up an 05 CBR1100XX Blackbird as a Christmas present to myself last year.
That took care of the Sport side of things well and truly but did not really suit the Touring side very well.
Having completed a (short) IBA ride with my buddy, I decided an ST1300 was on the cards and have been hunting for the right one over the last couple of months.
This morning I took delivery of my own ST1300
and now feel it is time to join the group, instead of being a satellite observer or voyeur as it were.
I know than this one has been mentioned on this forum in the past and by the number of people watching it had some interest and the offer we put forward was surprisingly accepted ...!

It requires some farkles to get it into full touring mode and a second seat (along with foot pegs) before it is 2Up compatible but a welcome addition to the fleet.
