McLaren Vale is the heart of the southern vales wine region, and just a short 30km ride from Adelaide. It's a little town full of cafes and gourmet food retailers. Eight of us gathered at "The Tin Shed" on a warm and windy spring day, and had a table under the shade of a big old tree and out of the wind. See
http://tinshedcafe.com.au/ for more info on "The Tin Shed" The food was truly magnificent, and I don't think any of us managed to get through the generous serves. After lunch we wandered down the main street to "Bracegirdles" which is famous for chocolate drinks and confectionary, to top up any empty space we had left.
Thanks to Richo & Donna, Langers & Julie, JohnG & Kahrin, and Chris for a beaut day out, with good food and good company.
