Its a truley well kept bike Brian. A credit to you and Ive been asking myself why I should not grad this bike. Truth is getting the cash together when I really need to trade to see new wheels in my shed.

The dealership mentioned in previous poSTs have offered this rather bright coloured pony for me to use for a couple of days as a show of good will after my less then positive sales experience.
They didn't have to, but well done them for doing so.
And yes I did give it a tub-up when I got home.......I jus like to drive a clean car

Not yet, we're STill a lil shell shocked from our initial dealings with both dealership and Ford Aust. As far as the car itself it ticks all the boxes

My bike has a couple of months of rego left (Due April) so I think if it sells before I need to renew it well n good ......if not .......I will keep it. I'm sure a few have other ideas but unless Mr H brings out something earthshattering.....This ST1300 is still the best Sports Tourer available.

Mainly because of our undying loyalty.
The FJR1300SE offers electric suspension adjustment, cruise control, heated grips, slipper clutch and 6 speed box, on top of electrically adjustable windscreen and panniers, and handles just as well with an equally wonderful engine.

I bought a 2010 FJR, crash bars, 26,000 kms, for $9000. IMHO the 1300 FJR is a slightly better sports tourer than the 2008 ST1300 that it replaced.
I was very happy with the ST1300 and would still have it today if I hadn't written it off. But I have to say I think the FJR has better specs.
Brian, I think you ought to forget about selling your bike as it obviously means a lot to you. Keep it and enjoy.

Highlights we're all different ........before this ST13 I took an FJR 2010 for a run (Springwood Suzuki @$15K) I really wanted to like it only it fell short of my expectations and the rest is history....
I'm jus not riding my bike enough to warrant keeping it.........I lack the motivation to get out n about on it.....all this from a guy who used to be passionate about bikes and the freedom of riding......I've lost my mojo
