Roman Jet Air Bed Pump
« on: July 11, 2017, 04:37:34 PM »
On our recent trip to the Kimberley region, we spent seven weeks sleeping in tents, and on air beds.   In the past I have been a fan of the thick self inflating mattresses, but this time I used a conventional single air bed.    To pump it up, I was using my new  Roman "Jet" Lithium Ion battery powered pump.   The 4000mAh battery charges from a USB outlet and can also be used as a power bank to charge or run other USB powered devices.   I was getting better than 12 inflates of a single air bed before it needed recharging.   It's not much bigger than a standard plug-in 12v pump, is convenient being battery powered, and worked very well every day for seven weeks.   Other battery powered air bed inflators that I've seen are the size of leaf blowers.

Prices seem to run from around $45 to $55
