2018-03-25 T-Cut Color Fast Polish
« on: March 24, 2018, 11:50:26 PM »
Our local hardware store had some this going out on special and we bought a blue for the ST and a grey for the Territory.

It's a product from the UK http://www.tetrosyl.com/brands/t-cut/

Available on eBay and Autobarn as well. https://www.autobarn.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=T+Cut

I tried it on the bike's front mud guard yesterday afternoon and it seems to work ok. Not easy to get a before and after shot though. The grey might also work on the belly pan which might be the best place to see the difference but I'll see how that colour works on the dull grey paint on the car first.

I think you'd only use this sort of product if the paintwork was badly faded. Then there's a risk you'll cut through the top coat to the primer.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

What I bought is just colour tinted polish - It works on fine visible scratches blending the (blue in my case) colour so the scratches disappear.
