Fairing compatibility between year models
« on: July 14, 2018, 03:09:16 PM »
Howdy...... Been a long time since I have managed to find time to write and it seems all I want in information...... Lol.

Can anyone tell me is there any issues with the compatibility of a 1996 model set of fairings, mirror covers, tank cover etc and also a seat being put onto a 1999 model?

The 99 is also an abs version...... Not sure about the 96 model.

Thanks heaps all.

Apart from colours all panels should be interchangeable

There were some minor improvements as in the windscreen (cat eyes inserted and a design change) but still fits all models.

The RH wing cover did change because of the tow point or tie down location under wing was added.

The 1100 front mudguard won't fit the 1100A as the forks are a larger diameter. At least on the 96 and newer ones. Not sure about the 95 a model though.

That's all I can think of.
