National rally prep and ST1100 mods
« on: March 05, 2025, 06:22:54 AM »
I decided I needed cruise control on the ST before I did my license. I had an McCruise control lying around that I'd removed from the F800gs.
Into the shed and start the process, there's plenty of time before our departure to Toowoomba.
Work out where to put things, print a few 3D brackets, modify a couple cables and sofar so good.
Then I figured I might as well fit driving lights, heated grips and the list goes on.....
I'm expecting to get the bike back together this weekend.............

I hope   :grin

and I still need to balance the carbs

Won't you need to get the cruise control box re-programmed for the ST? I understood that the firmware is bike-specific.
THERE ARE OLD RIDERS, AND THERE ARE BOLD RIDERS, BUT THERE ARE DAMN FEW OLD AND BOLD RIDERS.

Keep the dirty side down.

I should be able to recalibrate it if required. It does everything it's supposed to do on the centrestand.
